Efficiently establishing Global Universal mHealth Standardization is critical to mHealth technology innovation and adoption.

To meet this challenge IMHSC is proactively building the foundation of mHealth infrastructure by leading the Global mHealth Standardization Initiative to collaboratively establish Universal Global mHealth Open Standards.

Since global government and non-government regulatory agencies, and standards organizations have published profile information and post regulatory requirements, laws, pending legislation, recent initiatives, and standards on Wikipedia. IMHSC logically chose leveraging Wikipedia as it's open source go-to Polylinguistic collaborative workspace & repository to facilitate information sharing & collaborative consensus between all contributors & stakeholders.

The regional expertise of international standards organizations on are critical to the accelerated development of Global mHealth Open Standards. For monetized standards organizations who don't typically publish openly available standards without membership, participation in this initiative might be considered challenging, however, standards pertaining to mHealth constitute segmented and specific set of applicable standards which should be included within existing standards development practices.

IMHSC's transparent collaborative universal mHealth open standards development initiative will accelerate the collection, analysis & dissemination of relevant standards information, minimize interagency duplication of efforts, identify existing gaps, and allow for the simultaneous examination, consensus driven due process for the harmonization of existing standards, best practices, and development of new standards that fit together, and reinforce each other to expand & align into sustainable scalable Global Open mHealth Standards.

Importantly, this initiative will enable governments, standards organizations, medical device makers, and vendors to evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare programs mapped mHealth technologies, allocate resources, and adjust programs and the development of products, policies and legislation accordingly.

IMHSC's aggregated data findings will be leveraged to collaborate, optimize, and create accessible Polylinguistic multisector:

Universal mHealth Quality, Compliance , and Auditing Standards

Interagency Universal mHealth Quality Compliance and Auditing Program Development Guidance to Industry

Global Universal mHealth Best Practice Recommendations & Geographic Link State Protocol Standards for militarized & demilitarized zones mapped to cyber laws, incident handling & business continuity protocols, privacy laws & security standards

Global Open Standards Collaboration

The International mHealth Standardization Consortium IMHSC is a global multidisciplinary non-profit organization created to collaboratively align and develop Global mHealth Open Standards to support regional & global deployment optimization & interoperability across multiple data architectures & wireless exchanges of personal health information.

Convergence of telecommunications, wired and wireless end links, networks and switching systems, user devices, RFID and, voice, data, multi-media,  and Internet with heavily regulated sectors of electronic health technologies, clinical informatics, and medical devices requires significant cross-sectoral collaboration, and while  new models are evolving to serve these needs - Computational modeling is a science that provides a coherent process for quality control, standards development, and validation within dynamic, evolving landscapes of merged multi-sectorial communities of practice.

Today's challenge is to bring these areas of sectoral expertise together to address issues that are applicable across sectors and to bring diverse global regulatory agencies  & standards organizations together in collaboration and consensus to not only establish Global mHealth Open Standards mapped to regulatory guidance, but also roadmaps for organizational /operational standards programs to support integrated sectors.

Vision

Global mHealth Open Standards development can be accelerated through smart computing.  Computational modeling makes it possible to map regional, national & global regulatory requirements, technology protocols, spectrum requirement/constraint algorithms to existing multisectorial standards applicable to mHealth technologies (mobile devices, telecommunications, wireless, Internet, medical devices, Health IT,  clinical informatics (electronic clinical trial data capture, RFID, electromagnetic radiation etc...)

Mapping global regulatory requirements to existing standards will be essential to building the framework for  Global mHealth Open Standards development, and successful regulatory compliant mHealth technology deployments.  Further, computational modeling, mapping of algorithms and analysis will accurately and optimally define mHealth life-cycle development processes, procedures & work-flow, and identify geographical, regional & global mHealth data management protocols & standards to support interoperability and business continuum requirements across all sectors.

Mission

I

Initiate and establish Universal mHealth Digital & Wireless Interoperability Quality, Compliance and Auditing Open Standardization, Global Universal mHealth Quality & Compliance Certification Programs, and develop definitive Universal mHealth Quality, Compliance & Auditing Program Development Guidance to Industry to support the convergence of global interoperability and multi-platform acquisition, submission, dissemination, archiving, validation, reporting, security, electronic countermeasure protection, and disaster/recovery business continuity plans between medical devices, and open or closed wireless / electronic / biometric / digital technology systems warehousing / exchanging multilingual identified / de-identified personal health information and outcomes.

IMHSC is leveraging Wikipedia as the Polylinguistic open source go-to platform for the convergence, information sharing, collaboration & due process between all participating members including all interested individuals public and private sectors, global multilateral regulatory agencies, and standards organizations across federal & foreign governments, foreign & domestic military installations, and public & private industry including member representation from other non-profits & professional groups.  IMHSC will utilize Wikipedia to post & publish the proposed Global mHealth Open Standards for all stakeholders to review, comment and/or edit during the due process phase.

IMHSC is committed to accelerating the Universal mHealth Open Standardization process, and defining quality and regulatory compliance parameters in response to urgent market needs.

As regulatory and standards experts it is our responsibility to ACT.  What is required of us is a new era of responsibility.  We must recognize that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world.

Just as regulatory agencies will hold both small and large mHealth technology corporations accountable for regulatory and standards deviations - As regulatory and standards experts, we are just as accountable to provide standards and guidance to industry.
